How to Enter

Students

1. 1. Your teacher will give you access to the PowerPoint presentations, video links and information sheets that will enable you to research the extractives and building products industries and use this information in your project.
2. The project can take between 4-6 weeks to complete depending upon lesson time allocated by individual schools.
3. Each project MUST be submitted by students individually although you may work in groups to complete tasks.
4. Your project should be submitted to your teacher for assessment. Your teachers will select the two best entries from each year group for entry into a national competition.
5. Entries MUST be received at Proskills by 30 March 2012.
6. Judging will take place in early April with student finalists and their schools being notified by the end of April 2012. NB. it will not be possible to notify unsuccessful schools individually. The shortlisted finalists will be posted on this website in early May.
7. There will be a prize for the national winner in each year group.
8. Runners up will receive certificates.
9. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence regarding the awards can be entered into.
10. Work cannot be returned so please ensure that the entries are photocopied before despatch for judging.
