Teachers
- Consult the appropriate Scheme of Work for your students. NB. these are guidelines only. You will be able to map the project to your own syllabus as required.
- Provide access to the resource for your students.
- The project can take 4-6 weeks to complete depending upon lesson time allocated by individual schools.
- The project may be undertaken at any time in the academic year between September and the end of March the following year.
- The project MUST be undertaken and submitted by students individually although they may work in groups to complete tasks.
- Where the project has been undertaken outside normal lessons, such as in an after school club or from individual interest, the year group entry must be made clear on the project cover sheet.
- Students MUST complete the Student Surveys included with the project cover sheet before starting and after completing the project.
- Students should submit their project to their teacher for assessment once the project is completed.
- Teachers will mark the entries using the project cover sheet.
- 10.9. Please select the two best entries from each year and submit them to the DigIT! To BuildIT! office.
- All entries MUST be received at Proskills by 30 March 2012.
- Judging will take place in early April with student finalists and their schools being notified by the end of April 2012. NB. it will not be possible to notify unsuccessful schools individually. The shortlisted finalists will be posted on this website in early May.
- Runners up will receive certificates.
- The judges reserve the right to withhold an award if the work is not adjudged to be of a sufficiently high standard.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence regarding the awards can be entered into.
- Work cannot be returned so please ensure that the entries are photocopied before despatch for judging.
